DARNELL McCULLOUGH / CREATOR

A Mission from the Creator.

I’m Darnell, a father born, raised, and educated in Brooklyn, New York. I know the beauty, energy, and possibility of our neighborhoods. I also know how easily a child’s world can shrink to the blocks around them, especially when city lights hide the stars overhead.

I built LEONIS Universe to open that view. A story can invite a young reader into an unfamiliar world. A question about its oceans, stars, or gravity can send that same reader toward real science.

My life’s mission is to engage, educate, and empower three billion people by 2084. That is an ambitious destination, but the work begins with one reader, one classroom, and one moment of curiosity.

I want children to look beyond the concrete bubble and recognize that discovery belongs to them, too. Thank you for helping me put stories in their hands and a larger universe within their reach. Together, we begin.
